If a base is still winnable keep it during war, it doesn't have to be 100% fair, I think people get this wrong concerning the FoA-VAK war, IF you have a base like SMO and you AREN'T willing to give updates, THEN you shouldn't expect updates at the opposing sides fort, it LITERALLY doesn't make sense.
