Knežević has not quite broken into the main team of Dinamo Zagreb just yet, but should as this new season progresses. He's made 34 youth appearances for Croatia, and is the current captain of the U19 team.
Similar to Aaron Ramsey, Knežević is a creative and fast BBM with a lot of energy. He wants the ball as much as possible, as he ends up with a high amount of touches and passes every game. Very intelligent player blessed with vision and ability to read the game like a book. Breaks down defenses very well due to his positioning, physical attributes, and tactical intelligence. Can pinpoint passes and crosses, dangerous on the counter as he likes making runs through the middle. Terrific at placing through balls as well.
The only thing that stands out to me as a weakness is his inability in the air.
