Yes I know this is probably a ton of work and will never happen, but what if roblox incorporated Java and C++? I program Java and Roblox Studio could kind of have the Eclipse interface. I do think it would bring a lot of new devs to roblox and people would make bigger projects on it.
And I dont feel like learning lua because it really isnt that useful besides roblox tbh. Id use python over it.(opinion)

I learned a little of Java and C++, but I was always discouraged to start scripting on ROBLOX because of the "just Lua" coding.

No we'd lose a ton because all games would break. And you can't script with three different languages... Not only will it be confusing but it would be impossible on Roblox's end, since they'd have to make several versions to accommodate for three languages |

Make the game itself a certain programming lingo? However the game engine just need a code reader... Which I don't know how difficult it is... |

That's the hardest part of all this... And if you want to add a car in your game that uses Lua scripts and you weren't using Lua scripts, you would have to script that car from scratch, which provides a very high chance of breaking that car |

So no translating program lingo... Well that sucks... But Lua isn't exactly user friendly... HECK, it was made in Brazil. I don't know that kind of stuff.

Bob makes one of those high-tech cars and it runs with Lua scripts (because Bob uses Lua). Joe takes that car and puts it in his game, but he uses the engine modified for Java. He would either have to switch his engine to Lua (breaking any Java scripts in the game) or script the car from scratch in Java (which would be painful and it would be very easy for him to break the car in the process). Either way, Joe's not gonna have fun... |

I dont think anyone is gonna make something that is written in Java rely on something written in Lua for example. But I do think it is possible to have for example a day/night script written in Lua and a car script in Java.
