Comments should be used for review styled things, where you can give the game stars, and then comment on the game. I'm sick of seeing the constant spam over free rbx and other crap over the comments.
That being said, it should also have a longer word count for more intricate reviews. Reviews would be constantly moderated for spam and inappropriateness to ensure the reviews are trustworthy to the game. The system would possibly replace thumbs up system, or maybe the favorites system, as a way of giving the game a rating out of stars or out of 10, just like in the real world. It would also help developers to improve their game, as comments would be full of reports for bugs, positive reviews, negative reviews, and constructive criticism/ criticism.
This would help the Roblox community to improve over the ways we look at games, and hopefully give robloxians a better chance to see what a game is all about, rather than seeing "Free rbx at this site!" constantly (or whatever other crap people just waste their time to put out there.) |

@ Nfs Yes they do. Eight year olds are allowed to write movie reviews on Imdb... so they obviously can. Besides, all comments would go through a "system check" for about 24 hours or so to determine they are ok/ relevant... Then they would be approved and show up as a review. The more popular reviews show up first.
Basically, just take inspiration from IMDb. |

It might disable people from commenting in paid access games or games that are not yet playable but it is worth

SUPPORT, SUPPORT, SUPPORT!!! This is the best suggestion I've ever seen on this forum. When I go into the comments, I want to see what people think of the game, (Or product being sold on the Catalog). I want to see their opinions on the game, not useless spam for "Their Game", or pointless ROBUX chain mail. I think the whole concept of "Comments" for anything (Not just on this site, but others), was for people to commentate on whatever product/game/anything else that was available for use. Now a days on ROBLOX, comments are basically like an "Advertising Forum", about %95 of the comments I see have nothing to do with the game, or item. So yeah, I believe this is a needed feature, and can fix comments BIG TIME. Plus, I suggest that you have to PLAY THE GAME before being allowed to rate it. Also, the idea of it being checked over 24 hours is a good idea. They can decide between which criticism is meant to show the game's real flaws that need to be fixed, and the criticism that is put their to troll the creators. So yeah, I support %100!!! |
