When a scammer posts a scam, reporting them doesn't really do any good. They will probably only use that account once, and even if the account is terminated, the comment is still there, so people can still fall for the scam. Removing these comments once a scammer's account is terminated would not only save people's accounts, but also let the creators see more LEGIT comments.
