FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION UNITED STATES OF AMERICA Official Guidelines ■▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬■ Article I. [PREAMBLE] Article II. [EMPLOYEE EXPECTATIONS] Article III. [UNIFORM POLICY] Article IV [UNITS] Article V [PUNISHMENTS] ■▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬■ Article I [PREAMBLE] The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is the national aviation authority of the United States of America. An agency of the U.S. Department of Transportation, it has authority to regulate and oversee all aspects of American civil aviation. The Federal Aviation Act of 1958 created the organization under the name "Federal Aviation Agency", and adopted its current name in 1966 when it became a part of the United States Department of Transportation. These guidelines are to be followed at all times. ■▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬■ Article II [EMPLOYEE EXPECTATIONS] It is expected that ALL employees of the FAA treat each other with respect. It is also expected that all employees of the FAA be active with their duties, and notify the Chief of Staff if you are going inactive for a certain amount of time. You are expected to be mature while on duty, and not goof off. ■▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬■ Article III [UNIFORM POLICY] All employees must wear their designated uniforms found in the group store at all times while on the team. If you cannot afford a uniform, notify a high rank and we will mark down that you cannot afford one at the moment so that you do not get punished. ■▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬■ Article IV [UNITS] There are four units within the FAA: -Air Traffic Control -Security -Emergency Response Team -Air Patrol Unit The jobs of those units are described in the rank guide. A Unit Commander is appointed to lead each unit, and is in charge of who is in their unit. If you are in the "Employee in training" rank, you are being trained by a Unit Commander for the Unit you chose/were appointed to in your interview/tryout/application. If you want to switch units, it must be approved by the Director of the FAA, your unit commander, and the commander of the unit you want to switch to. If you are approved to switch, you will be placed back into "Employee in training" to train for your new unit. ■▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬■ Article V [PUNISHMENTS] The FAA takes offenses very seriously. -If you are found without your uniform while on the team, you will be suspended from your duties in the FAA. -If you are found using a helicopter for your own personal use, criminal activity, or anything other than what you are supposed to be using it for, you will be fired from the FAA. -If you are found leaving your designated area while on the team, you will be suspended from the FAA. -If you are found disrespecting citizens or other employees you will be suspended or possibly fired from the FAA. -If you are found abusing your tools you will be fired from the FAA. -If you are found doing anything in this list, or anything else that you shouldn't be doing other than what is listed here, you will be suspended or fired from the FAA. Suspensions will be kept track of, so if you are suspended for one offense, you may be fired from the FAA the next time you are seen breaking that rule. ■▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬■ Signed, MJ Director of the Federal Aviation Administration
