hey tim tim
can you get your head out of your ass and stop being an ignorant moron
just because he includes credits in his rp(which is something many rps have done since and likely before dorthol, you're just an idiot/liar) doesn't mean he's copying you, or because he formats his isrp
and the fact you're making a big DAK out of a damn format is just pathetic |

Hey Tim, nice post! Its format looks a lot like the format I've been using for years. Oh, right, that's because that is the format I've been using for the past several years! A handful of words organized into sentences, organized into paragraphs, with one space between words and hitting the enter key twice in order to get to the next paragraph! You even use punctuation, such as periods and exclamation marks, like I do! |

What are acceptable occupations?

Basically anything that isn't an occupation filled by only one person (so you can't be the Queen, for example) and that doesn't require you travelling outside of Restora (like an astronaut or a pilot). I'd recommend picking an occupation that's interesting so that you'll have more fun. |

Question b4 I think up mah CS:
Are "crossovers" allowed? Or at the very least, can the character be related in someway to a character from some other media as a cameo? |
|
Z0rr0wJoin Date: 2008-07-06 Post Count: 14027 |
Nope. This isn't a crossover RP. |
|
|
Second question, at least? :( |

...
...can i at least make a character based upon someone? |
|

Yeah, that's fine. I think most of RPF does that anyway to some extent. Just try to differentiate your character from the one you're basing it off of. |

tim, you do not understand the terrors of summer reading |

Teachers purposefully give us the worst summer reading books ever
like, I'm in AP English again this year, and my teacher assigned us "How to Read Literature Like a Professor" and I swear it's the most pretentious book I've ever read in my life. It's just a list of symbols and what they mean, but the author tries too hard to be funny and intelligent and it's horrible I hate it
|
|
|
There are no terrors. If you get a crappy book you can always just pick up a new book. I have loads of suggestions if anyone needs them. |

now im hiding my phone in my book
summer of my german soldier by bette greene
it sucks d!lldough
its also a library book that has been FRIGGIN WRITTEN ON AKA SCRIBBLING ACROSS THE ENTIRE PAGE
mkay
got my rage out
one last question Z0rr0w thou: are there "countries" around? idk how to describe my character's 'nationality' otherwise |
|
|
tim, they're mandatory to read, chosen by the teacher, and you're not allowed to put it down if it's not your cup of tea.
freshman year i only read the book halfway
sophomore year there were two books and i only read a couple chapters of one of them before ignoring it
that did not go well
this year would have been three books
i was never even able to force myself to read one, let alone thrice that amount |

You can't simply force someone to read a book that they find "uniteresting".
Teachers need to learn that. |
|
|
@fac, if you don't read it you can read a summary online and loosely get away with it
or copy / work together with a friend
you won't get 100s on the test(s)(?) but you will survive and we all know that school is actually just about getting through it so that you can move on to the next requirements |
