The 1000R$ price is so high because it suppose to make people not want it, the ones who do usually get their name changes actually do want it. There is not point in making it cheaper other than you just don't wanna pay, and if you don't wanna pay then you obviously don't want it. Besides most of the ones who do change their name often do it more often after the first one, imagine that on a free scale. Now I support the half a year thing, but alts are still a thing.
