What a way to end the swimming portion for the US. Gold in both races. Ryan Murphy a world record leading off. Phelps with 23 gold medals. Truly, the greatest olympian of a time.

Not the US men and women win gold in the medley relay to finish this Olympics swimming. Phelps with a memorable Olympics with 5 golds and a 3 way tie for silver. Phelps will be remembered for years. He has the heart of a true champion. This has been a great Olympics. I don't care about the other parts. In 4 years maybe I'll be there. Probably not, but who knows. It's been a pleasure reporting the swimming portion along with sportsfan. Wish this would never end. Signing off, ~Sock
