Rid comments of scambots.

Create an overwhelming number of obstacles for scambots. List of obstacles/TLDR: CAPTCHA, Play before commenting, verify your account before commenting, filter scam links quicker 1) 【CAPTCHA】 A CAPTCHA is a challenge-response test used in computing to determine whether or not the user is human before they can comment. They look like this: https://www.roblox.com/CAPTCHA-telling-you-to-go-allusive-item?id=30201450 •This means MUCH less bot comments that scam and advertise (No they can't get around it, they're kids) Plus it would still make it much less convenient to bot, and heavily cut botting even if some users use java web crawlers and other junk to solve captcha. Not too many people will spend time thought and energy doing that. This update will get rid of a majority of scambot comments. 2) 【Play before commenting】 Why the hell are people commenting before playing the game? The comments are for commenting on the game, not judging the thumbnail and title and advertising areas. What relevancy can a post from a user who didn’t play the game possibly have? This just makes it easier for bots. Let's make it so you must click play and move around for a few seconds before commenting. By having users do this first, we: •Decrease bot-comments (This is too complex for botters to feel like getting around this step) Most bot comments will already be blocked by CAPTCHA; Play to comment adds another obstacle for the rare bots that manage to get around CAPTCHA, sweeping up the remnants. 3) 【Verify your account before commenting】 •This will also cut scam-comments, as it is another obstacle for bots. •Will also result in more users verifying their account, meaning less account loss :) You already have to verify your account to forum – so why not to comment as well? Now that's three obstacles for bots. 4) 【Filter scam links quicker】 Simply have someone scroll through the comment sections of popular games to search for links that managed to get through our insane obstacles to add to the filter. (Each link has a creator, so if that creator managed to create bots that get through all of these obstacles, that link will be on the popular game comments and be easily spotted) This is easy to do even now when there's no obstacles- very often a select few of specific links make up the bulk of the spam-comments, making them easy to target – yet ROBLOX is taking weeks to filter a link that’s obvious and has gone rampant. It will be even easier than it already is to filter, with CAPTCHA, Play to comment, and verify email obstacles blocking pretty much all scammers' bots already. •This will halt scam-comments with those popular scamlinks and get rid of the remaining scam-comments that manage to slip through the crazy wall of obstacles we created. ========================= Each of these individual updates will cause lots of slow down for bots, and when they’re all launched at once, they’ll be an overwhelming number of obstacles for scambots and get rid of them once and for all, increasing the quality of the comment sections. Also please add catalog comments back since they'll be alright with CAPTCHA, Verifying email, and link hunting defending it from bots. Would you want to be a botter on ROBLOX with all these obstacles in the way? I don't think so. Aaand that's my suggestion.

We need the bot check for the log in too. If all of this happened, TIX would have survived for 5 more seconds ROBLOX made a mistake and removed TIX instead of player points. Just a typo guys XD

yep.. people think they are real people when most of them are bots its almost impossible to reach the end of the work at a pizza place comments because theres all these people saying "stop scammimg"

Yep. This obviously needs to happen, if any roblox admin reads this, why wasn't this in place since roblox was released? Even more since you thought about deleting comments on all items from the roblox profile.

I agree and support, but I don't agree with number 3. Verifying accounts won't deter spam, because it's really easy to verify an account. Someone could use a throwaway email or something. Plus, although the forums require a verified email, bots have still managed to create posts. gather 'round the good stuff

This will make things more difficult for scammers but it will not stop them. They will always come back and try to steal accounts on Roblox. My account was stolen once but I got it back because I check my email.

Anything to slow'em down. Plus you can only register a certain number of accounts per email, meaning the guy will have to keep making more emails. More work for them. CAPTCHA will stop a majority of them, and with the combination of that, play to comment, verifying email, and filtering, it will be very difficult to bot on ROBLOX.
