Code of Icecrown: Rank Explanation ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ This section of the Code of Icecrown will explain the role(s) and expectations of each rank within the Order from lowest to highest. Reference your problem-scenarios here if ever you are in question of what someone is able to do within the Order. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬ New Members - Newly-Risen Initiates: found amongst the dead and mindless undead, each newly-risen initiate will be given the "Test of the Scourge" to determine what they can or cannot provide in servitude to the Order. - Unworthy Initiates: those who fail the "Test of the Scourge" shall be placed at this rank to provide an example as what 'not to be' when striving for success in the Order. Unworthy initiates may be killed on sight by all other members of the Order. - Disciples: for those that pass the "Test of the Scourge," a new test will begin to determine whether each discipline is fit for the life of a Death Knight. Those with potential but not the true skills needed for a Death Knight shall be considered for positions as Armorers for the Order or for continued training to bolster skills necessary for a Death Knight position. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬ Central Bulk of the Order > Armorers: while unnecessary in the early stages of the Order, armorers will serve to ensure that each member is properly equipped with order *pertaining to their rank*. While this simple task can be done by higher ranking members of the Order, armorers will eventually be needed to help assist. The roles of this rank will be considered less stressful and strenuous than the roles of ranks succeeding it, making it a prime spot to place those who have passed the "Test of the Scourge" but have not shown the potential for service as a Death Knight. > Scourge Sky Darkeners: while not as powerful in hand-to-hand combat as your typical Death Knight, a sky darkener is a disciplined archer of the Scourge. Elite sky darkeners will carry the responsibility of helping Frost Death Knights in the defense of Icecrown, and if necessary, assisting assaults against the Order's enemies. > Death Knights of the Unholy: disciples who have shown a preference to the raising of minions, spreading the plague of undeath, and the erosion of vitality in the world are most likely to become Unholy Death Knights. This particular sect of Death Knights will work tirelessly to ensure that the mindless Scourge masses that serve the Lich King remain abundant in numbers and that our enemies remain isolated from our works. Death and decay shall be all that remains in the path of such Death Knights. > Death Knights of Blood: disciples who have shown a preference for the manipulation of blood and flesh within mortal beings to the extent of controlling the lifeblood of the world are very likely to become Blood Death Knights. The Blood sect of Icecrown will ensure that anything that cannot be risen to serve shall be brought down by the very thing that gives it life- its own blood in which will become corrupted before the horrors of Blood Death Knights. > Death Knights of Frost: disciples who have shown a preference to the fortitude of the icy wastes of Icecrown and its affects on the unprepared are no doubt eager to become Frost Death Knights. The Frost sect of Icecrown shall ensure the endurance of Order itself while guaranteeing the power that channels through its every action in the form of runic energy. The path of Frost is the path of solidarity for Icecrown and doom for its enemies. > Val'kyr Battle-Maidens: protectors of the Newly-Risen and disciples- these are the few that watch over the new blood of Icecrown. While protecting its newest members, Val'kyr of the Order will also tend to the needs of royalty. > Knight-Lord Instructors: trainers of the initiates, our Knight-Lord Instructors will see to the arrangement of armorers and properly trained members. All Death Knights, Armorers, Disciples, and Newly-Risen Initiates alike shall be under the observation of Knight-Lord Instructors. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬ Royalty [>] Royal Plaguemaster: the head of the Unholy sect of Icecrown, the Royal Plaguemaster shall ensure the advanced training of all Unholy Death Knights or their exile- should they be unable to endure the harshness of death and decay. [>] Royal Blood Lord: the head of the Blood sect of Icecrown, the Royal Blood Lord shall ensure the advanced training of all Blood Death Knights or their exile- should they be unable to endure the corruption of the very liquid that sustains them. [>] Royal Archlich: the head of the Frost sect of Icecrown, the Royal Archlich shall ensure the advanced training of all Frost Death Knights or their exile- should they be unable to endure the cold wastes of abandonment and fortitude that Icecrown demands of them. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬ Highborn Royalty [>] Highlord of the Scourge: the Commander-Knight of all Scourge sector heads and Instructors, the Highlord of the Scourge is expected to carry out the will and commands of both the Lich King and Grand Lichess for the sake of Icecrown and its future. [>] Grand Lichess/The Lich Queen: second to none and in the same place of leadership as the Lich King, all members are expected to follow the will and orders of the Grand Lichess as they would their Lich King. [>] The Lich King: the Supreme Ruler of the Order of the Scourge and its only owner- all members of the Order are subject to the needs and desires of the Lich King. Servitude to the Lich King must be absolute and forthright. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ (Subject to change by request and/or necessary arrangements)
