(Faking as in.... It's 3-D, despite it's engine not being used to create E-D games. Like how imscared faked 3-D on GameMaker.)
You begin to walk around a forest with your lantern in hand and a shield. Where's your trusty sword? You don't know. Anyways, it seems like you came to a stop when you found a house on the middle of the forest. It's a wooden cabin. Looks nice.

You press a key on the NES controller and the character walks up to the door and automatically opens it. Inside he's greeted by a rather eerie decoration with multiple bloody animal heads stuck to the walls.
This house probably belongs to an hunter.
