First of all, I just want to say that I love rock. All the sub genre of it. I've read most of the thread and can see that the people here are really religious and I have nothing against that. About that you say that ALL the song from the metal genre promotes ########### and stuff. That's statement is a blatant lie, You've probably heard that from your parents or anyone else but it's just taking a whole sub genre into the same boat which is obviously not ok.
If you need proof listen to Hammerfall - Hearts On Fire, a softer metal song which has no profanity / cussing and is mostly positive. And if you need another, Listen to the popular Through The Fire And Flames by Dragonforce.
Also, in your title you say "ITS JUST NOISE" that's what music is, and also something that bothers me is that you say "How can people just listen to rock and metal?" You can say the same about any genre of music for example: How can people listen to pop? IT'S SO REPETITIVE. I think the problem here is just different opinions and you should respect what others than you listen to and SHOULDN'T make a hate thread about it.
If you ask me why I'm typing all of this, the answer would be that I just want to defend what I love. |
