▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ARTICLE II - EXECUTIVE OPERATIONS ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Section I: The head of the Executive Branch shall be the Governor of Firestone. The Governor of the State of Firestone shall serve a four (4) month term, together with a Lieutenant Governor. Section II: The Governor and Lieutenant Governor shall remain in office until another Governor, alongside his or her Lieutenant Governor, has been sworn into office, unless the Governor or the Lieutenant Governor have resigned or been impeached. Section III: The Governor and Lieutenant Governor must both be citizens of the State of Firestone and cannot have committed a felony during or immediately prior to the election as Governor or Lieutenant Governor. Section IV: The Governor shall be Commander of the Firestone National Guard and shall be able to exercise full control over the deployment of the National Guard in the event of riots, civil unrest, terrorist attacks, or in the event of a State of Emergency. Section V: The Governor of the State of Firestone has the authority to appoint a new Lieutenant Governor should the previous Lieutenant be impeached or resign. Section VI: The Lieutenant Governor shall become the Governor of the State of Firestone should the Governor be impeached or resign. Section VII: The owner and/or the Founder of the State of Firestone has no authority to make general decisions and anything he/she says is to be taken only as his/her opinion and as a recommendation. Section VIII: The Governor of the State of Firestone has three (3) days to sign a bill into law or veto it. After the three (3) days, the bill becomes a law. He/she does not have to approve amendments to the Constitution. Section IX: The Governor has the authority to appoint cabinet ministers, judges and other department officials with the consent of the simple majority of Senate during a session. The Governor shall have the ability to fire any cabinet minister or other department officials for a plausible reason. Section X: The Governor of the State of Firestone shall be obligated to give his or her State of Address once every two months in the House Chamber. The Governor shall outline his or her legislative agenda and comment on the condition of Firestone. All members of the State Legislature shall be invited to sit on the floor of the chamber and citizens shall be allowed to sit in the gallery. All Honorary Guests, defined by the Governor, shall be able to sit on the floor of the chamber. Section XI: The Governor of the State of Firestone has the authority to make recommendations to the State Legislature: the power to discharge this duty lies solely with the Governor, and the discharge of this duty cannot be compelled by the State Legislature. Section XII: The Governor and Lieutenant Governor shall be removed from office on impeachment for successful conviction of any crime from both chambers. Section XIII: Any government official may have two (2) capitol staff. The capitol staffers are to serve as an assistant to their government official and it is not considered a full-time job; they may occupy other jobs. They must notify the Chief of Staff who their Capitol Staff are.
