The forums are nothing but a huge chatroom. There's no goal or anything, all you do is post garbage to rack up your posts. You guys are missing the ENTIRE point of a forum. A forum is to discuss topics, and you are to judge a post on its merits. But you guys are posting nothing but spam, your drama, L2D threads, attention seeking, and other garbage. You're literally proving my point here. Just take a look at ROBLOX Talk right now. It's being spammed by bots and it's completely ridiculous. Of course we didn't have any bots back then. Back then it was still chaos, but the stupidity seems to increase by the year. I forum on many other websites that are so innovated, but the ROBLOX forums are just an embarrassment.
I really recommend removing the forums to be honest. If the forums wont be removed then I suggest removing post count. Post count is an arbitrary number, to me seeing a large post count, especially on someone with a recent join date (1-2 years) just shows that you care more about the quantity of your posts than you care about the quality of your posts, which means you're just contributing to the general spam that degrades the overall quality of the forums. I cannot tell you how much spam has increased in the last 6 years. It's utterly ridiculous and serves no qualification whatsoever. They need to remove post count, like immediately. Sure people would leave but did they really contribute much to the community if they're going to leave over a number going away? |

Okay no... I'd love to hear your reasoning behind this. The forums in 2010 were much better than is it now, way better. Although I do agree with 2014, 2014 was a disappointment.
