As we all know, when you enter a game, whether it be in studio or ingame, you spawn as your normal robloxian. What I think would be awesome is if you could easily set a custom model (maybe a custom rig you've built) as the default character a player spawns on load. This would remove the need to have extra scripts necessary for the task, and would allow tons of variety in how people create ingame characters. Of course, a custom character would require the basics, a head,humanoidpart, and torso, and the controls are stripped down to the bare minimum (basic camera controls, basic controls such as moving around and jumping), with no premade animations or sounds, allowing custom assets to be easily implemented. plz ;-;

oh my goodness, I'm having trouble with that, and that's why I posted this as a suggestion. Just because something can be scripted doesn't mean it can't be improved and made easier to use by adding as a feature.

I have no idea why you're being like this, but I'll be more than happy if you could help me out by scripting a custom character framework for me. If you can't do that with enough ease, then please don't go around saying "S C R I P T A B L E", because we know that. All I would like is for it to be a more easily achievable action.

Although I'm not sure how to script such things, I'd say that this feature is scriptable which is why this won't happen, sorry.

Yeah, I just now managed to get this thing working, and this is usually where'd I'd stop the thread, but it should be common rule for a game engine that setting up a character model should be easy, and shouldn't involve having the get rid of a pre-existing character asset and replace, but who am I kidding? Roblox isn't meant to be a Unity or Unreal Engine. sigh
