I don't really judge a show by it's fanbase much because they don't really affect the actual show most of the time. |

Ya Tumblr ruins everything. Also I felt the same way about the early promos, it looked...TERRIBLE! The early marketing should have killed the show. I mean, the first half of Season 1 isn't as great as the rest of Season 1, Season 2, and Season 3. But even that wasn't as bad as what the commercials made it out too be. |

Shouldn't judge a show because of its fandom, the creator can't control the fandom. Focus on the show, and not the people worshipping it. I understand your case though, can't search a character up with out seeing........ Things *shivers* |

I personally think that steven universe is a boring cartoon
yeah sure it's really popular, but it doesn't really appeal to me nor do I actually enjoy watching it
there's more well-written and better cartoons out there like The Venture Bros. and Bojack Horseman
of course if you're offended by my opinion then you should just bugger off since I won't really change my opinion on the cartoon |

Look, just because I hate a show that you like isn't a good reason to argue; and not to mention, (I know you're joking)you're fandom (and pretty much every fandom) is like an ant colony. A scout finds something, goes back yo the mainstream, tell everyone about that thing, and then they all go and attack or find it in one big group.
You see what I mean?
You probably won't. You're mindset right now is most likely like this: "I'm right, I'm not going to put up with anything the other person does, just keep pushing forward." No really, we might as well just both scatter off, because it's all just stupid internet arguments. |

Yep. Sponge Bob gets hate from all of the average, cartoon reviewers that all like the same things. I still watch it. I always give SpongeBob credit for trying something new, not being the same year, like Steven Universe. |
