Irving is not the 2nd best in the league?

well he outperformed the unanimous MVP who set records and led his team to the best regular season of all time in the playoffs, so I think that is very much arguable "I've been big ever since I was little" - William 'Refrigerator' Perry

so recency bias? So many more point guards better than him
RefrigeratorPerry
#196424240Thursday, August 18, 2016 1:11 AM GMT

well, your list is top 5 by position now, so recency "bias" very much applies to this list. and you put him at 5 on your list.. so basically you just contradicted your ranking by saying there's "so many more point guards better than him" (which isn't true, not many players actually improve their performance in the playoffs, which Kyrie did). after what Kyrie did in the playoffs and especially the finals, he very much deserves to be in the conversation of one of the best point guards in the league. Kyrie was playing with the free spacing that Lebron gave by drawing in the defense. Curry had everybody on him. Really can't say he outperformed.

you're acting like Curry didn't have wide open shots facing elimination, Kyrie shot 71, 39, and 44 percent to win the NBA championship, Curry shot 38, 40, and 32 percent but I guess Kyrie didn't outperform Curry.. "I've been big ever since I was little" - William 'Refrigerator' Perry

"you're acting like Curry didn't have wide open shots" he had much less space. is exactly what i am saying.

and I never said he was better than CP3 and Westbrook, I put them ahead of him, and even Curry, but yes I think he's better than Wall Wall is a great point guard, but I don't understand how anyone would take him over Kyrie, unless you hate the Cavs or are a Wizards fan. I would 100% take Wall over Kyrie and I'm a Rockets fan Wall is much better at being an actual point guard. He averages 10 assists a game. I'd rather have that than Kyrie's 4 assists.

Stephen Curry is being called the best player in the NBA and the best shooter in NBA history, but he struggled to hit wide open shots and shoot with little seperation? fact of the matter is, Kyrie outperformed Curry, regardless of how much room either of them had to shoot and to be fair, Kyrie was hitting extremely contested shots, i.e. game winner, and the and 1 in game (7)? the simple explanation for Irving not having many assists is that LeBron plays point guard a lot, LeBron averaged more assists because he has the ball in his hands so much, and Wall has nobody else that plays point guard like LeBron and Kyrie do, so he has the ball in his hands almost every possession, of course he's gonna get so many assists Kyrie without LeBron didn't have many assists because he was THE GUY on his team, the best scorer, if Chris Paul or John Wall had a team like Kyrie did, I guarantee their assists would go down too, but of course Paul has Crawford, Redd.ick, Jordan, Griffin and Wall has Beal, Ne-ne, Gortat (who you could argue isn't that great, but neither was Kyrie's team around him) I just like Kyrie, Westbrook, Curry more than Wall because all 3 are great passers AND great scorers, Wall is a good scorer but I wouldn't put him above those 3, and those 3 CAN pass for assists (Kyrie tied the USA olympic record with 12 assists against Argentina today) "I've been big ever since I was little" - William 'Refrigerator' Perry
