Right now, there's no way other than checking a datastore every so often to create events that can carry information between servers.

"i still don't get it" well a bindable event is an object used to use functions across multiple scripts so for example, a script sets the OnInvoke to a function that prints something. another script can use :Invoke() to run that function. a globalevent theoretically is something you can set a function to and it can be invoked from on any server

And I believe that the wiki discouraged using Update events on datastores because they take up a lot of RAM or something

It discouraged it because you can't guarantee that the information you're getting is current, but with something like this that wouldn't apply.
