2013 floods in Colorado, luckily our neighborhood was on a hill, but we still couldn't go anywhere for a few days.

im not in a big area for storms, from Ottawa, usually we have light tornados, (like F1s), severe thunderstorms, and snow. There was one huge storm in Ottawa though. 1998, storm in the winter, froze all of Ontario, and Quebec, and parts of US, couldn't go outside for days, electricity was out, and we had to put on fire. It was a huge storm, and one of the biggest in that region.

I always tell people that "Black Friday" has a totally different meaning where I live. It's the name of a tornado that happened here on July 31, 1987.
