1) They need money to run the servers and without the money they can't run the servers which will cause roblox to shutdown.
2) They need to pay there HARD working workers or they will quit WHICH WILL make roblox unpopular since they don't have people working for them its just David and a 3 story building.
Why did they remove tix?
1) People on youtube used bots to give themselves free tix by spam clicking play on that 1 account to give them hundreds EVEN thousands of tix.
2) Less people were buying robux which means roblox was losing money so the only way to get goods was by buying robux to GET the goods
And here comes you kids complaining with super sonic speed saying
"ROBLOX JUST WANTS MONEY THEY DONT PAY THERE WORKERS"

This needs to be stickied. Also, even if you don't use rixty,if you don't have a credit card just get a roblox card from the store or if they don't sell them near you get a prepaid visa and buy using that.
I believe you can use swagbucks to get prepaid cards that you can use to buy robux now for free, too. |

revansai, I think you don't understand how money works
It doesn't mean you have financial troubles, but any business needs money to survive, more money = more things can be done, therefore they need what they already had for everything is now more for upkeep of the business in general because of growth, so tix is removed so they can add bigger, better features in the future. |

You have to pay for higher quality games, that's the general rule.
You usually won't get Battlefield 4 for free, but you will get Roblox.
So in removing tix, the quality of features that can be added shot way up, and this quality needs a higher budget, so by removing tix they made it more likely to gather that budget off of players, and non-bc players can either pay 5 dollars to support the higher quality games and their developers, or they can get free items.
Plus, if you haven't noticed yet, people can make cool things with just avatar colors, a free hat, and changing up with the free packages to make a cool shape.
The lack of tix also gives people more incentive to build high quality places in studio or with f3x, to make them get big, and get robux through gamepasses, because you could pay 5 for BC once your game is already popular and then make a ton more robux off of passes/products. |
