Rental hats are reserved for sponsored items. I'd assume this is because whoever's sponsoring ROBLOX doesn't want the items to be available forever. Also, rental gear is pretty helpful too. You can add it as gear for a game so people will have to keep buying it, which might make you a good amount of money if people are willing to do it.

Yeah, you wouldn't and that means nobody would. I used to play a game and rental gear was available; I thought the game was great, so I kept renting it whenever I could, and plenty of other people that played the game did rent the gear too. It was a small game with a small community, too but I don't play it anymore.
If you played a bigger game like Sword Fighting Tournament and played the gear battle mode which uses rental gear, you'd see way more people with the items. It's not necessary to remove the whole feature as well just because you just think nobody rents it.

ROBLOX isn't sponsoring those companies. The companies are. They're not going to make people quit ROBLOX because of a rental item and they're not going to lose profit from them, the sponsorship will make them gain profit.

OK, and it was like that when rental gear was made. But that's like saying "Not everybody can pay for monthly BC, so we may as well remove it."

ROBLOX should once listen to their community instead of their very deep pockets filled with money and look for other sponsors that will be more than happy to let their items stay with their players. |
