ROBLOX is notorious for removing beloved features from ROBLOX such as tix, or the legendarily hated price floor update. Also, ROBLOX should know, Erik wouldn't have wanted this. Erik would've wanted all players to be happy, and not tortured by new and terrible updates. ROBLOX should also know that, the safe chat feature was added for good reasons, but it is making the social experience like watching Howard the Duck. ROBLOX needs to fix these features. |

No the tix removal was to drive the profits up (that being sales of membership.) Most server costs are covered by the ads that NBCs see.

their each server costs more than $3 per hour
multiply that by tens of thousands (there's more than 1 server active at a time) and you'll see how much it costs for their servers to be active

You guys should look at Wargaming of you keep saying "Look how much money it takes to run servers." The company Wargaming has FIVE GAMES on SEVERAL DIFFERENT PLATFORMS [World of Tanks, World of Warplanes, World of Warships, World of Tanks Blitz, and World of Tanks Generals] ALL WITH THEIR OWN SERVERS. Some of their games [World of Tanks Blitz] have trouble keeping up with ALL THE PEOPLE THAT PLAY THE GAME because there is SIMPLY SO MANY. However, they are not money grabbing. Unlike Roblox, they give out free premium time compensation when the servers go down (which is the equivalent of Roblox Builder's Club), they host events that give out free tanks such as their game anniversary, the company anniversary, and an upcoming special event (September 10th, 2016 marks the 100th year anniversary tanks have been used in combat). Unlike Roblox, they're not that money grabbing. So, please explain people. |
