Every game I've seen on the front page since 2012 have all been rip offs and I have yet to see any creativity in any of the new games either. Of all the games I have seen, only a few have good scripting and gameplay (armoured patrol, Galleons, etc) while the others such as: Murder, All Loleris games, etc, lack any of this. The gameplay is boring and repetitive, all the while the concept itself isn't unique either. Game creators lack vision, they lack the ability to think of concepts no one else has done and blatantly plagiarise any concept they deem interesting.
Combating this is lack of creativity is simple but cruel. Games should be "approved" before reaching the front page. Approved games will be sponsored and treated as the next generation of games while the other will be given an unapproved status. Games that begin to reach the front page must undergo an approval process much like a youtube video. If the content is found to be plagiarised or the content is deemed repetitive/unoriginal the game will be tagged as being unapproved. The game will then be moved to the back of the games section. For example:
Let's say a game called "Age of Bloxxers" was released and said game had an original concept with some of the most outstanding designs and gameplay, then should this game acquire a large amount of people then a game that is on the front page will be chosen to compete for it's spot on the front page.
Age of Bloxxers would be placed against "Five nights at freddies RP!!11!" and for obvious reasons roblox "judges"/staff would upvote Age of Bloxxers, the five nights at freddies rip off will then be sent to the bottom of the games list for plagiarising a concept.
This would not kill the five nights at freddies game but would hide it from the front page.
