Rules for the Administration and Advancements of Land Raids at Fort Sumter Drafted by OmegaInvictus on the twenty-seventh of August, in the year of our Lord 2016 Winning a raid: Raids do not have a kill cap. Instead, a raid will be fought until one side has clearly won. If a raid ends when each side has very similar kills, that raid will be considered a draw. Likewise, if one side surrenders than the other side will be considered the victor. While this may seem fairly ambiguous, in practice it is clear who wins a battle and ### ################## your Kills: If you leave or disconnect during a raid you will not receive any stats back. An admin trying to return kills will be justly accused of admin abuse. Kills cannot be transferred to another player, either, and this too will be considered admin abuse. Policy on Server Crashes and Server Damaging Exploiting: Should a server crash during a raid, the raid will be declared a draw. A crash is when the entire server shuts down and everyone loses connection. Should both sides return and agree, then the raid may be restarted. Kills may be returned after a crash if both sides agree. This is not required, however. Spawn Kill: Due to issues with regulating spawn kill, the actual act of spawn kill should remain relatively unregulated. As such, raids cannot be auto won by fault of spawnkill. However, spawnkilling cannot be accurately defined as being shot in your fort because you are camping inside of it. Exploiting: Exploiting is, obviously, banned from raids. If a raid is exploited to the point where it is is no longer continuable then it can either be declared a draw or restarted on the act of both sides agreeing. If one side is exploiting for gain then the other side may justly declare an auto win. This may be avoided, however, if the offending side should ban their offending member. Admin Abuse: Admin abusing will be fully forbidden from raids. Mass admin abuse may result in the opposing team justly declaring an auto win if the abuse is bad enough but the administration logs should be consulted before an admin abuse victory is declared. If they are not, then an admin abuse victory cannot legitimately be confirmed. Granting Admin to a Raiding Team: Administrative powers should be granted to a raiding team’s commanding officer. The rank of this administrative power should be high enough to check the logs and to kick randoms who may be damaging their ability to raid. Member Count for a Raid: There is no limit to how many defenders there need to be for a raid. For a raid to be logged and colloquially considered official there should be a healthy amount of raiders and some officer rank. Raids are almost always setup beforehand so this rule is not always a real problem. Raiding During Trainings: Raiding during trainings is allowed but a raiding officer should check to see if the server is not locked before attempting to setup a raid. Miscellaneous: Common sense rules apply covering anything I have missed. Deo Vindice Praesis Ut Prosis Ne Ut Imperes General in Chief OmegaInvictus
