Hello, fellow Americans! I am Emporerj and I am officially announcing my candidacy for the United States House of Representatives! For basically all of the time I have spent in the United States I have worked in the Executive Branch. Varying from job to job, I've served as the Secretary of Homeland Security and as the Secretary of Defense throughout my long career. Presently, I am serving as the President's director of Internal Affairs, working to root out corruption and keep the Executive Branch in shape.
As much as I try, however, the Executive Branch does not have alone the power to moderate corruption. Sure, the President's internal affairs organization has some authority to investigate executive branches and individuals, but in truth its ability to act is lacking. We have no official congressional guidelines for employees of the United States government and we have a hard time identifying exactly what is and is not allowed. Sometimes, it even comes down to a decision made on the spot, as there are no guidelines. If elected into the House of Representatives I pledge to work on establishing official congressional guidelines for all employees of the United States government to follow. Using my experience as the President's director of Internal Affairs, I know where guidelines are needed and what the Executive Branch presently lacks.
Another topic of much uncertainty and debate is "rogue" declarations. It is no rare sight to see some of our nation's most senior officials arguing over who has the authority to declare an individual "rogue" and exactly what the repricussions for being declared "rogue" are. If I am elected into the House of Representatives I pledge to work on passing legislation to officially define the "rogue" declaration, to lay out guidelines as to who can make these declarations, and specify the legal proceedures and ramifications to follow.
And lets face it, the Intelligence Community are in need of help. The Central Intelligence Agency has been completely abandoned by its leaders and crippled at Las Vegas while the Defense Intelligence Agency is struggling to figure out whether or not they are even law enforcement. If I am elected into the House of Representatives I will immediately begin working with the President of the United States and other members of the Executive Branch to repurpose and reorganize the Intelligence Community to get it back on its feet. We should not have any agencies nor departments arguing with judges, congress, and the President, as to what their purpose is.
Furthermore, I pledge to my fellow democrats that I will work with party members and leadership to ensure organization. For a major political party unity and organization are of paramount importance, and to be honest, something we are presently lacking. I hope you, my fellow Americans, will give me the opportunity to represent you in our congress!
