Hello, welcome to the tournament of champions, the tournament of sword-fighting. As you can tell this tournament is about sword-fighting, not gun-fighting. Now as we enter the 2016-2017 season with new hope and possibly new clans, this tournament is to start the season with a bang! With new and old clans alike this tournament is to see who can be the best of the best, who is exactly the best SF clan there is out in the SF community. Good luck to all competitors, and we will see you soon!
[1] How to gain entry in the tournament?
You must have 300 or more members.
You must ally request "Robloxia Clan Sword-Fighting Tournament".
You must message me your group with the link of your group and you also must message me your squad for the tournament before the tournament starts isotherm your team will not compete.
It is first come, first serve. So, the first 16 teams that gain entry into the tournament will be the only 16 teams in the tournament. If many teams message me at the same time, I will look at the time they message me, and even if it's a few minutes earlier the other or a few seconds earlier, that team would gain entry in to the tournament.
[2] How will it work?
The tournament will have at maximum 16 clans. There will be four groups. Group A, Group B, Group C, and Group D. The sixteen clans will be drawn randomly in to each of the four groups. There will be points involved in order to determine who will go to the quarter finals. Points will be used for wins, losses and draws.
A win equals 3 points.
A draw equals 1 point.
A loss equals 0 points.
Each group will have four clans which will play in which the four clans in that group will play each other once. Remember the top two teams with the most will make it to the quarter finals.
[3] How will the teams be?
You will need to have 14 people to represent your team if you're competing. 11 starting and 3 subs. I or a referee will team those who are starting, and name those who are subs their username and their team that they are on.
The leader of the team will need to join the group also in order for the group to participate and will need to message me the squad. The leader will be put in a rank of our groups like Group A if the team is in group A.
[4] How will the games work?
It will be 11 Wipe-outs until you are eliminated. You can sub on a player who is about to get 11 WO's, but once a player gets 11 Wipe-outs, he or she is out.
The game is a set. There will be 2-3 games in one set. Like Volleyball, if a team gets two wins in a row, they win the set and take all three points, but if the other team wins one too then we will go to the third game to decide the tiebreaker.
Each game is thirty minutes. If the one team does not win in thirty minutes, the team with the most players still on wins. If that is ties, the team with the most KOS, win.
[4] Referees
Referees are part of the game. They help keep in charge on who is winning and who is losing. They keep in charge of wins and losses and help keep the schedule moving. If any corruptness or unfairness or rudeness came out of them and it is provable by screenshots or a valid argument, they will be fired.
They must be respectful to both teams no matter what the story is, if it is personal then it can be talked outside of the tournament.
If a referee is lying about a win or a loss for whatever reason and the other team has a valid argument and screenshots that shows that they won, they will be fired unless they can prove a point on why they should stay and ref the rest tournament.
If the referee is shown being corrupt and disrespectful etc. They will first be suspended so they can not officially referee the game and have 24 hours to make a paragraph on why should they stay to referee for the rest of the tournament and an apology, if it is a valid apology, then I would consider for the referee to stay and ref the rest of the tournament. If not, they are fired.
[5] Rules for everybody.
No flaming.
No glitching unless said it was alright to glitch.
No exploiting.
No griefing.
Be respectful, this is not a preschool class.
Have fun!
I am hoping for this to be a fun, glorious tournament of the champions of Swordfighting. Good luck to those who are participating, and the tournament will begin on September 22nd.
