The amount of spam bots and fake accounts created for the direct intention to mislead people into either losing their accounts or stealing money from them has gone way too far. We can't use comments seriously without there being hundreds (if not thousands) of spam bots on popular games.
I want to hear feedback about my game, but the comments will be useless if it gets popular. It's shameful of ROBLOX that they haven't done anything about this, or even TRIED.
I'm pretty sure it couldn't be too difficult to add a CAPTCHA to the comments or some kind of human verification. Even if it was, it would be well worth it. We'd get more relevant comments and it would make ROBLOX a generally better place.
I am disturbed by the sheer amount of spam comments on##h#####a####ycoon 2. Just look at how ridiculous this is:

Now, I know this is pointless because the mods don't even check the forums, but HOW have they done nothing about this? This is a major problem and I'm sure a lot of people fall for these scams and lose their accounts or money.
If a mod DOES actually manage to read this, I hope they actually take this suggestion which HAS been suggested before into consideration (captchas, that is). I want my comments to be clean of scams, to be relevant. Maybe even make it so you can only comment if you have bought the item or if you've played the game. This would make comments MUCH more relevant.
It's really unlikely a mod will ever read this, but I'd like to make this thread popular for a mod to see. Look in the comments of any popular game. Spambots everywhere.
I know my attitude towards this is bad, but can you blame me? My game isn't even that popular and it's already been spammed a little.
Anyway, that's my rant.
TLDR;
Add captchas to comments or make it so you can only comment if you've bought or played it. Spam bots are getting out of control. |
