When I try to say the name of a GAME, it censors it. When I try to say a username, it censors it. The filter quite literally, censors basically every proper noun in existence.

The filter is very spontaneous and it will activate at the most random of times.
Take this post for example, where (5 . 2 5 ") floppy drive is randomly filtered:

Also, sequences of numbers and lists are randomly filtered. This can be frustrating because, like I said, the filter messes with the formatting of your posts.

Well, for one, you need to learn what the definition of spamming means, and two, that was just one example. You asked for an example of what I'm talking about, and I gave you one. Not sure what I'm doing wrong here.
Also, you must be new here. If this is such an awful, terrible, repulsive suggestion, you really need to pay attention to the average suggestions that are posted here on a daily basis. A lot of them make no sense, are made with no effort, or have absolutely no basis of an idea at all. You can't tell me that this is the absolute worst suggestion you have ever seen on this subforum.

There are already lots of such threads, this one is just a repeat and at least metaphoric spam. And I asked for proof, the example itself does not prove the censorship being strict enough to not ask [email protected].

By the way, this argument makes you look afraid of losing these arguments; this thread simply interested me more than the other. I believe in this thread being a bait, because the forumers should know by now, the censorship is not as strict, as it was in the start of June. |

Spam is irrelevant, unwanted media. Just because my suggestion isn't the first iteration of the idea that you've ever seen doesn't mean that it's spam, even in a metaphoric sense.
Also, how is my example not valid enough for you? The term "floppy drive" does not offend anything in the Terms of Service, and yet it is still affected by the filter. That should point out at least some of the flaws in the filter.
