I can't think of any reason at all why it would hurt for us to be able to revoke accidental group/friend requests, nor why it would take a ton of work to implement such a feature. Not a huge thing, but it's an improvement to the site and would probably save some people out there from embarrassment after accidentally sending a group/friend request that they really shouldn't have.
