Rules of the Game -5v5 min/7v7 max (including goalkeepers) -if the ball is knocked out of goalkeepers hands and into goal it is considered as a no goal -Arguing with or insulting officials is not allowed and players will be punished for it (e.g. red card) -Glitches (e.g. glitch shot) can't be used to score, but can be used to pass -If a player is sent off (Red), the team plays a man down -15 minute halves, with ET rewarded for time wasted (If any) at the end of each half -If a team cannot make a match, they must notify the chairman a day before (minimum) or they will forfeit 3-0 -If neither can make a match and fail to give a days' notice, the result is 0-0 -Other basic rules of MPS Team Rules: -A player can only play for one team, anyone found playing for more than one team is suspended for the remainder of the tournament, and the team loaning will have points deducted or if in the knockout stages - forfeit -There are no squad sheets, feel free to use anyone in the group as long as they aren't playing for another team -Teams that dropout or are inactive will be replaced, the incoming team will gain their stats Competition Setup -Group Stage: Each team will play the other 3 teams in it's group a single time, with the top two teams advancing to the knockout stages. However, the 3rd-placed team with the biggest GD will also advance! Furthermore, the 1st-placed team with the biggest GD will get a bye in the first round. -Knockout Stages: The knockout stages will begin in the quarter-finals, with No.1 seeds being paired with No.2 seeds and the one No.3 seed. The winners will move on to the semi-finals, in which the match-ups will be randomly drawn. Both the quarter and semi finals will be two legs, with no away goal rules involved. If the score is level through two legs there will be 10 mins of extra time, then penalties if the tie isn't broken. -3rd Place match: The losing teams of the semi-finals will play to claim 3rd place in a single match, which will involve extra time then penalties if the score stays level. -Finals: The final will be a single match, and go on to extra time then penalties if the score stays level. Winner takes the cup.
