"Romo is overrated if anything" even though he's been one of the most criticized players in the league since becoming a starter, playing with trash teams in the years he was at his best, and is regarded by most people that aren't cowboys fans or analysts to be an above average backup at best, he is overrated. okay. im not saying he's underrated, but he is sure as f### not overrated. dak in black

"You have to remember, Luck was in his prime last season. Ryan's aging. Ryan has gotten older, and I believe that he was and still is a great QB. He just doesn't have the ability." So an aging Ryan puts up better numbers than a prime Luck and Luck is still considered better? LOL.... Ryan's only half way into his career.

"but Luck's best year was better than Ryan's best year" Ryan: 32 TD's 14 INT 68.6% 2 fumbles Luck: 40 TD's 18 INT 61.7% 8 fumbles yeah, I'll take Ryan's best year.

Because the quarterback i know is praised by the media. Also he's played for a solid team, it's his inconsistencies that derailed those seasons, yet he still is considered to be amongst the best quarterbacks for some reason. He's a good quarterback but he's inconsistent, which is rarely taken into account.

romo's only been called a top quarterback these past few seasons before that Romo was only mentioned for jokes about how he chokes

"Ryan: 32 TD's 14 INT 68.6% 2 fumbles Luck: 40 TD's 18 INT 61.7% 8 fumbles yeah, I'll take Ryan's best year." Ryan's line was ranked 15th in 2012 and Luck's was ranked 25th in 2013, can't really blame him for fumbling when he's getting hit a lot because of a poor line and i already addressed that completion% isn't always telling of how good a QB is chad pennington has the 2nd highest completion% of all time but that wouldn't influence someone to take him over Brady or Rodgers at all

also Romo has had trash offensive lines and defenses up until recently, and his defense is still pretty garbage

Exactly, he's currently overrated, he's not a top quarterback, and he's injury prone. I'm not saying he's grossly overrated, but he is overrated.

"and i already addressed that completion% isn't always telling of how good a QB is chad pennington has the 2nd highest completion% of all time but that wouldn't influence someone to take him over Brady or Rodgers at all" completion percentage is one of the most important stats in defining how good a qb is lol Aaron Rodgers will probably retire with a higher completion percentage than Pennington anyways. Chad Pennington only played a whole season a few times. I wonder why no one thinks he's that great.

when Romo is healthy he is a top QB unfortunately for him things only came together when he reached the twilight of his career and hid body becomes worthless

#198107499Friday, September 09, 2016 5:19 AM GMT

matt schaub has played for 11 and has a higher completion% than Tom Brady ??? Brady is 13th in completion% all time but he is a better all time QB than everyone above him Ryan had an amazing offense in 2012, Luck's team was nowhere NEAR as good as Ryan's in 2013 I would assume having 3 great targets and a reliable RB will increase your completion percentage by a lot
RefrigeratorPerry
#198107549Friday, September 09, 2016 5:21 AM GMT

Luck's team in 2013 was nowhere near as good as Ryan's team in 2012 is what I meant, shoulda worded that better

Matt Ryan still threw 28 touchdowns and 14 interceptions while throwing 66% on a 6-10 team. so cut the bs

#198108795Friday, September 09, 2016 6:16 AM GMT

I put Philip Rivers and Tony Romo in their own tier ## ### that could have won a SB if their ownership was competent for the majority of their career.
