to my extent of what i'm aware of, ROBLOX report mod's are given A LOT of reports to go through. but a lot of them are either UNREAD, or just not valid (that could mean he or she isn't breaking any rules, or if there's no evidence, or if the report was just fake all together.) and this could really take a toll on the protection of our community.
a lot of exploiters today, will be reported up to ten times a day. and it would take around a MONTH or more for them actually put in the consequence, mainly because there's just so many, a lot of them are unread.
so my solution is a player involving system called the RRV (ROBLOX Report Validation)
these players are given a select limit of reports every day (this can vary from ROBLOX's mods decision), all they have to do is see if the information is VALID or INVALID, they do these for Rewards (this can be a hat only to those who are in RRV and do well, or possibly a small robux reward after every stack of reports for that day is done (my suggestion would be around 5-10 robux but its completely up to the mods) if they do really well in the span of a few days depends on the pay.) If its valid, the players select VALID and its send to the report mods, and if its INVALID, then its ignored and dropped. but every now and then, there will be a random checkup on your INVALID reports. if a report mod gets a INVALID report, or a VALID report was put INVALID, the player will get a strike. 3 strikes in one day will remove the chance of getting a hat every now and then [probably around once a month a appreciation hat will be released to those who do well]) and will take a toll on the small robux reward, too many strikes before the month ends, they can possibly be removed from RRV. on the topic of robux and hats, the player is rewarded the next day if they finished yesterday's reports, when he/she gets his/hers next file of reports.
now that the system is explained
there are some limitations
All invalid reports MUST have a reason
to enter, you must at least belong to any kind of BC
must have a @cc age over 2 yrs
and all those who enter must be tested with a few examples of what they'l be doing
after testing, they'l get a message explaining if they passed or did not pass
if the player passes, exactly 24 hrs after the message is sent, the player will get their first set of reports to validate.
this will help filter out the useless reports of those who are lying, not breaking rules, ect, from the actual reports that can have consequences to those breaking the rules.
this will lower the amount of invalid reports the mods will have to deal with, increasing the chances of a valid report getting read or get to a valid report faster without all the invalid ones in the way.
this should filter out most of those who break the rules, from the good innocent players of our community who deserve a good time in ROBLOX.

I think it'd also be good to have a "Trust" system based on how many reports you've handled, and the accuracy of the reports.
UserA who handled 1000 reports and was right about 50% of them will have himself called into question for accuracy, Reports he handles might be sent to somebody else for further validation
UserB handles 1000 reports and is right about 99% of them, their decision is taken more seriously when considering passing a request onto actual staff.

well, if a player gets a report wrong, they're given a strike.
too many strikes results in a lower reward
if a player gets so many strikes within that month, the player will be removed from the group. and i doubt it would be around 1k reports each.
because a player gets it DAILY, it would probably be less than 100 |

going to bed, if you have questions. leave them here and check back tommorow :)

Well, Not really, you can't TERMINATE people under this proposed system of his. You #### # report "Real/fake" and if you are a trustworthy enough person it passes it on to a real moderator; who actually takes an action if the user reported has made an actionable offense. |

Let me correct your thread a bit
corrected version:
To my extent of what I'm aware of, ROBLOX report mod's are given A LOT of reports to go through. But a lot of them are either UNREAD, or just not valid (that could mean he or she isn't breaking any rules, or if there's no evidence, or if the report was just fake altogether.) and this could take a toll on the protection of our community.
A lot of exploiters today will be declared up to ten times a day. And it would take around a MONTH or more for them put in the consequence, mainly because there's just so many, a lot of them are unread.

these players are given a select limit of reports every day (this can vary from ROBLOX's mods decision), all they have to do is see if the information is VALID or INVALID, they do these for Rewards (this can be a hat only to those who are in RRV and do well, or possibly a small robux reward after every stack of reports for that day is done (my suggestion would be around 5-10 robux, but it's completely up to the mods) if they do really well in the span of a few days depends on the pay.) You don't have to shout no support, We already know your stance on the issue :/
Anyways, Invalid marks get checked by other users again, and there's some manner of trust/accuracy building up over time (And with the lax state of ROBLOX moderation, It's worth anything that slips through the cracks in the meantime!)
Alternatively, You could make it a system you have to sign up for specially, and can be discharged if you screw up too much

I mean, You answered your own question, It could require you be 18, Which would eliminate most of the little kiddies, with some form of serious validation.

So basically outsourcing moderation to users who work for very little technically. which is a good idea considering it could just as easily be a volunteer position.
|
|
|

No. Things like this work on other games because the playerbase is more mature. You can't outsource moderation to eight year olds. It doesn't work. Also, I'm pretty sure these reports will be uncensored to show the admin what's actually being said, and I don't think parents want their children learning every vulgar word in 20 different languages over the course of a week. |

3/10s of Roblox's "millions of players" is enough to significantly boost response time methinks.

No support. Say someone got salty, and decided to use the option "ban everyone". That would be horrible. We could start by not allowing people to judge on reports about them, or about reports they submitted, but it still isn't foolproof. |

Mods aren't always, but can absolutely be, biased. and the reviewers wouldn't have true power, Did you not read the suggestion :/?
|
|
|
"a lot of exploiters today, will be reported up to ten times a day"
source?
"it would take around a MONTH or more"
source??
nothin' like a good argument ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ |
