why does america use a sunday-saturday calendar with sunday being the start of the week. i thought sunday was the end of the weekend, which is the end of the week, which should go at the back end of the calendar like the monday-sunday format. also because monday is widely considered as the start of the week; start of the work week and start of the school week specifically. but instead of monday being at the head of the calendar, its put at #2. |
