PART I: INTRODUCTION
The Department of Justice is the judicial branch of the State of Bridgewater. They handle all court cases and pass sentences.

PART II: Ranks
Chief Court Justice (CCJ): The head of the judicial branch. The CCJ oversees the operations of the court and is also responsible for the administering of punishments delivered by the court.
Assistant Chief Court Justice(ACCJ): The assistant head of the judicial branch. The ACCJ assists the CCJ in performing his/her function. The ACCJ sits on the Supreme Court and has a vote.
Supreme Court Justice (SCJ): The SCJ is a justice who is a part of the Supreme Court. They will be able to hear cases that come before the Supreme Court and also vote on Impeachments & the striking down of laws that are before the Supreme Court.
Appeals Court Advisor: Responsible for managing and advising Appeals. Court Justices.
Appeals Court Justice (ACJ): The ACJ is a justice who can hear cases that are before the Appeals Court.
District Court Advisor: Responsible for managing and advising District Court Justices.
District Court Justice (DCJ or CJ): The DCJ is a court justice who can hear cases submitted to the court for the first time.
Bailiff: Administers oaths and acts as security to maintain order in the court.

PART III: SUBMITTING A CASE
Cases can be submitted at https://forum.roblox.com/Forum/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=198638994. Cases can only be submitted against non-Government officials or Government Officials in the case in which the crime was committed before they took office. If you have a charge that you want to bring against a Government Official, contact a Senator or Representative.

PART IV: APPEALING A CASE
You have the right to appeal a case if you feel as if an error of law has been made.
When appealing send your case to a Appeals Justice if you are appealing from the District Court or a Supreme Court Justice if appealing from the Appeals Court. However, judgment of the Supreme Court are final and cannot be overruled.
