Finished my 2 years of college and over summer I got accepted into a university course with everyone previously in my class. It's a HND. |

My college is running the course but its Glasgow Kelvin College. |

College is very different in the UK to with it is in US. I did 2 years of college because I dropped out of school at 4th year(not sure what that is in England or US terms). I did them got my nat 4 and 5 now I'm doing a uni course. University is basically college in U.S. Going to be in university for another 4 years now.

Secondary School = year 7 - 11
College - year 12 - 13
University = years depend on course |

In Scotland we have.
Primary School = P1 to p7
then secondary school = s1 to s6
I left at s4 to go into college and get the qualifications I want. Done 2 years of that and got accepted into a Uni course which runs for 2 years. It gives you a HND. That means at the end of this 2 year course I can apply for an actual uni and get accepted into year 3 automatically then do 2 more years and get a professional qualification and become a professional in computing in general. |
