So far a whopping number of 0 people are interested in Andromeda Online.
FeelsBadMan because us 3 developers are working really hard on something we find interesting.
I'm trying to build up a bit of a following before our mid-October alpha launch, but it's not happening.
What should I do? |
|
|
but theres literally a similar but better sounding project out even sooner and being developed and produced by huge names in the c&g community, you're just outclassed |
|
|
Roverse is 100% different.
And honestly it's not looking like it's going to shape out to be that great. |
|
|
I've been asked to help with development on that a few times.
I already know it's going to flop exactly like battle-network; because it's exactly the same idea. |
|
|
make it clear then and provide an actual detailed progress report of what your thing will include and why people should get interested at all
make titles that catch the eye like "there should be a way to do [insert what youre doing]" and then describe what you're doing to people who might have been wanting a similar experience
right now you're making terrible clickbait about other groups and leaving everyone in the dark |

LOL u wont get front page

Overview posted.
And azure; we aren't targeted as a mass market game.
We're more targeted at the clan side of roblox, but showcasing how effective it is to systematically manage conflicts. |

I'd argue an extreme amount of action.
Look through my places; the are all AO development showcases, started less than a week ago. |

I don't collect it.
Apparently I build "garbage" although any sane person would disagree with you. |

Sadly you're mistaken, BN was lead by neovus who was purely in the project to benefit robux.
If you're upset because we haven't accepted your application as of now that's no reason to go around slandering the project especially when we've just shown we had a ton of work done already and will continue to keep following in that pathway, we're more organized and willing to work on this project since it's non profit for all of us, we're not making a dime.
The main purpose of roverse is to improve the entirety of clans while bringing an enjoyable experience throughout long term gameplay and continual galactic conquest. We are going to have very group driven aspects to the game such as the space ships later on.
We have some of the brightest minds in development and there's nothing that is going to remove us from keeping this project going because we want this to help out clans as well as give an enjoyable experience to new comers.
Oi, is that a biscuit? |

Roverse development is moving extremely slow. I don't understand how such a large team can accomplish so little.
I'm willing to argue the organization bit as well. Andromeda Online is completely planned out in all stages at this point. We've put a huge amount of effort into planning.
The problem with roverse is that you're trying to involve a bunch of inactive clans in a system that's been attempted multiple times to no success.
Andromeda Online is a completely fresh idea, and is planned out to ensure constant activity.
We aren't involving old and faded clans; we are creating a new universe with new clans that have an extensively developed storyline, and provide members with a real sense of belonging to a cause.
Our self contained system ensures that clan conflicts remain fresh, battles and raids actually have a point, and each player gets a sense of control over what happens in the universe. |

"Roverse development is moving extremely slow. I don't understand how such a large team can accomplish so little."
Can you explain what you mean by extremely slow? We get something done just about every day, we don't have the time to spend 24 hours if you think that is a proper development time. We don't show you every little thing we make so we have A LOT more then you think we have worked on.
"I'm willing to argue the organization bit as well. Andromeda Online is completely planned out in all stages at this point. We've put a huge amount of effort into planning.
"
We've had everything planned out from step one buddy, the difference is we know what will lag out a server and what won't, we know building limitations and have to maintain those.
"The problem with roverse is that you're trying to involve a bunch of inactive clans in a system that's been attempted multiple times to no success. "
Glad you also didn't notice that we've mentioned this here and there, we're only allowing clans that reach a server maturity and activity level. Say average maturity and 15+ activity.
"Andromeda Online is a completely fresh idea, and is planned out to ensure constant activity."
It's a copy of roverse and roverse has already been reviewed by roblox moderators and they love it.
"We aren't involving old and faded clans; we are creating a new universe with new clans that have an extensively developed storyline, and provide members with a real sense of belonging to a cause."
Basically you're not allowing clans and guilds at all, you're forcing people to join clans you create. Perhaps you didn't notice but you sound more like you're trying to make a top game instead of improve clans, if this isn't a game meant for clan improvement don't bring it up on C&G.
"Our self contained system ensures that clan conflicts remain fresh, battles and raids actually have a point, and each player gets a sense of control over what happens in the universe."
So basically you saw what roverse was doing and decided to copy us? good job.
Oi, is that a biscuit? |

how to generate hype:
1. show stuff off
2. have big names working with you
3. endorsements
the easiest way would be to have big names or endorsements. but as i assume you don't or it would already be hype, you gonna have to show stuff off and seeing as how despite how different they may be, the community sees you in the same genre and therefor competing with RoVerse, you're gonna have a bad time if your stuff isn't better than theirs. |

pretend u are marketing a big movie. do the stuff resonating said
plus
- talk as if u know ur project will succeed
- press releases on c&g (dont literally call them press releases. there is an art to this so do ur research...)
- in your case, consider scaling back a bit and honing in on the points that make andromeda online stand out. why should i be excited about it?
consider the 8-10 year old child. he doesn't want to read a novel explaining all the features in your project. he wants to see one or two awesome things and say "that's cool!" |

It's literally completely different than roverse. |
