You travel forward in time every second, you're moving forward in time.
Going back in time is impossible, unless you're going to an alternate universe.
But earth rotates around the sun so you'd most likely in space

There are theories however on how time travel COULD be done. Or how a particle could do it. |

This is a flimsy explanation for time travel.
Time travel to the past is impossible, because you cannot exist twice. That's the simple explanation as to why you cannot go back in time.
You can indeed travel to the future faster than others, though. To put it simply, again, you can bend spacetime by manipulating gravity. You can manipulate gravity through altitude. It's very miniscule, but still technically time travel.
Now getting close to a black hole without dying. THAT is immense time travel.

NASA has a theory about 'wormholes' between points in space and time to transport small particles. Or faster then light.
If exotic matter exists, with a negative energy density it could do it.
But yes "Time travel" to the future is a lot easier and less theoretical. |

I believe that time travel is possible because you would need to drive in outer space because in outer space there's no time because you are not in a planet, having time, if you were in outer space. |

@ OP. lemme simplify.
Beings exist in 4D and have the ability to jump wherever they want on our timelines.
The trick to faster than light speed travel & time travel is phasing into 4D.
