State of Firestone: Bringing Department of Public Safety To Service
NOTE: I (DennisArch) have no intentions on taking leadership of the Department of Public Safety, within the State of Firestone through this petition. UNLESS the outcome opens a window of opportunity (to become secretary) for everyone who qualifies.
[Addressing The Issue]
I, DennisArch, bring to the attention of the people of Firestone, and that of the officials to continue to develop and put in service the Department of Public Safety (DPS). As departments continue to grow (as well as the state’s population), I feel that there must be a department that can and will partner up with the people of Firestone, emergency services or not, and build a strong, safe, and mindful community of individuals who seek to improve the foundation of law enforcement without changing their purpose to serve and protect for us all.
One of the core purposes (as many have begged to become a responsibility of all departments) that the DPS has, is to reduce, prevent, or stop any form of abuse/misconduct of an officer within a law enforcement agency, office, or department. Going by personal experience that occurred often over the week of September 25, 2016; scenarios of officers (no department to be assumed at this point) conflicting over misconduct or unprepared individuals. As for medical or fire services, considering they’re fairly new, and I have not seen them in action over my time in the county (of the week mentioned), the DPS can help improve their department(s) in which the public feels needs to be improved. Whether it’s to raise the quality of roleplay, realism, or if it’s to fix ongoing issues that occur.
The DPS may also reach out to the public with information regarding the status of a department, or regarding the conflicts to watch out for while in the county, as the departments in partnership of the DPS feel the public should be aware of.
[What They Can Do (NOT ASSURED)]
NOTE: These are NOT the exact functions that the Firestone DPS has, but it’s an outlook on what the functions bay be based off real DPS services, old forum posts, and Roblox’s limitations.
One) Based on real life, the forum, and the game, the DPS has many functions that may apply to the county. The DPS can assign jurisdictions to proper departments based on the alert level of that area, and if most or all departments agree with this decision, this may happen within a server, or during a State of Emergency, all servers (if told otherwise by the governor [or possibly an official]). (Best Judgement)
Two) The DPS takes reports of misconduct from any department, and properly takes the steps to immediately resolve the issue that happens statewide. (Forum)
Three)The DPS releases information that the public should be aware of, and promotes the preparation of citizens in common scenarios that put their lives in jeopardy. (Real Life)
Four) As a statewide department, other county departments established in the future will play a role within the DPS. (Real Life)
Five) Lastly, the DPS meets with departments and their supervisors/leaders to know the overall status of a department, and keep record of them as to keep wheels spinning, for comparison, and keep the state safe. (Real Life)
Now remember, I (DennisArch) am not saying that those listed above will play a factor within the continuation of the DPS, but there are chances that they can be used as to receive the vision for the people and the department. It's to help you vision the duties of DPS as this can change based on leadership.
[Last Thoughts]
I ask for all that are interested to sign this, and help create an impact on Firestone in terms of safety and the reputation. This is for us and for all, to promote peace and recognize issues far bigger, that can both be stopped and prevented from further damage. A lot may not agree with me, but I've felt the wrong, and the undeniably wrong, right now, this feels right.

Thank you for your signature @robmanlol12. As you have brought to the table that the state needs more employment that does not involve the requirement of passing post (unless told otherwise), I feel that the DPS can assist in that area of concern once fully functional. |

Considering you've only had a "week in the county", I **CAN NOT** support you for DPS Secretary. The Governor will hopefully chose someone with more experience in Firestone when he is able to.

@Alex, I actually limited due to school as I actually have been around noticing these issues inclining and declining by EXPERIENCE. So I don't expect you to support me, as I'm not forcing everyone to do so. I won't argue with your preference though, and I respect your well-doing for the county. |

Just because I input my opinion on him getting DPS Secretary doesn't mean I didn't read his forum post, because I did. Generally people who make these forum posts expect and/or receive the position, so I was just providing my input on why that shouldn't happen.

seems to me you're creating this to get the position.
this isn't the way to do it, do it like everyone does, and apply.
