first of all, the argument for no fifa WC bid is because theirs no competition and NZ would qualify every time, right ?
well lets think a sec... why dont we make it competitive ? it all starts with the FIFA corp. They have to take initiative at funding ofc to better develop players. obviously they need a pipeline
And the pipeline is ? in New Zealand. The New Zealand A-league is perfect place for island nations to develop more players. Roy Krishna is not the only decent ofc player, sometime out their are better players on the islands, they just havent been recruited and dident get in a squad. FIFA should fund a New Zealand A-league club for pacific islanders and open up competition. Their is no other place we can do this. Australia has refuse to help the ofc develop and the islands aren't big enough or popularized. The only major leagues we can send these islanders is at New Zealand's pro leagues, as Roy Krishna is at. The pipeline will only grow and get expansion for NZ soccer. i dont see why this is bad idea so why not try it out ? |
