//LA POLICE DEPARTMENT GUIDELINES --Topics Covered-- • Our Purpose • Entry Requirements • Expectations • Entrance to ####### #### Guide -Our Purpose- The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) is tasked with the safeguard the lives and property of the people we serve, to reduce the incidence and fear of crime, and to enhance public safety while working with the diverse communities to improve their quality of life. Our mandate is to do so with honor and integrity, while at all times conducting ourselves with the highest ethical standards to maintain public confidence. -Entry Requirements- The Los Angeles Police Department is a highly trained force. Therefore entry is limited to only those who meet our following requirements: • Have active Skype and Discord accounts • Not be in Federal Prison or AoS • Fulfil our needs for knowledge of the law, maturity, discipline and combat skill • Not be within an active criminal or be part of any criminal organisation • Dedicate themselves to the USMS and be in no or few other agencies -Expectations- Every agency employee is expected to follow all the rules and regulations laid out in this guide. You are expected to be loyal, dedicated, active, mature and respectable at all times. You are expected to treat your job as a privilege, not a right, and act to protect the rights of the public. -Joining the LAPD- Entry into the LAPD is normally conducted through tryouts that will appear on the USA group shout when they are open. The agency administration reserves the right or employ other methods (such as applications) to hire personnel at their discretion. -Rank Guide- • Suspended - Rank is for personnel who are being disciplined for rule breaking. You may not join the LAPD team at all if you are Suspended, doing so will result in immediate termination of your employment and blacklisted from the agency. • Representative – Usually used for Directors or high ranks from other agencies. They are not Officers and cannot be commanded. • Cadet - Usually people who have just been granted into the Los Angeles Police Department. Cadets are not allowed on the team without supervision from a Officer+. • Officer - Those who have shown they are worthy to be within the Los Angeles Police Department. People ranked as an Officer are trusted and are allowed to go on the team without supervision. • Corporal - People ranked as Corporal have shown their loyalty to the Los Angeles Police Department and are trusted members. • Sergeant - Those who are ranked "Sergeant" showed tremendous activity as well as loyalty to the Los Angeles Police Department • Lieutenant - Lieutenants are in charge of hosting events and people who have are given great respect within the LAPD for their duties. • Captain - Captain is tasked with helping the AC+ with overseeing the LAPD. People ranked Captain+ are trusted with hosting tryouts. • Assistant Commissioner - The Assistant Commissioner is chosen by the Commissioner himself to help assist him within the LAPD. • Deputy Commissioner - The Deputy Commissioner is chosen by the Commissioner to help oversee the LAPD. • Commissioner - The Commissioner is the overseer of the LAPD. He/She runs all operations of the LAPD.
