"it makes ur muscles practically water"
idk where you heard that but that's proven to be complete an utter BS.
A double blind study over a 3 month period showed that there's no real increase in water retention with creatine. Basically, that means that researchers and subjects didn't know which half was taking creatine and which one wasn't, and at the end of the study, everyone had around the same levels of water in the cells of their muscles. If the creatine mix you are taking has a lot of sodium, that DOES increase water retention. The simple solution to that is to be willing to shell out the extra cash for a cleaner mix of creatine.
You will probably lose some bulk/muscular ability once you stop taking creatine, but that's because creatine increases the rate with which you are able to process ATP and when you stop taking creatine, that function also decreases. Meaning you are able to do less work, and your muscles may atrophy if you do not adjust for that.
Let's be clear here. Creatine is already necessary to muscular movement. According to the university of Maryland, one of the possible causes of muscular dystrophy that has been noted is a lack of creatine. People with MD have significantly lower natural levels.
Adding on creatine assists skeletal muscle cells in re synthesizing ATP(fuel) in a quicker period of time, allowing for more work to be done at a quicker pace for a longer period of time.
Sorry man, I get what you're tryna say and considering how many people believe the same BS you do, I don't blame you. But science has literally debunked 90% of the myths about creatine.
