Another reason why I don't get into virtual politics. And another to why I'm studying to be in public office whether State Legislator or part of the Executive branch. Either way, I'm surprised that an oligarchy even survived this long without a large rebellion starting up (unless you consider TGI a rebellion.. or not). I guess scare tactics like facing exile or demotion are effective if you want to be part of the small elite group...
But we all know that every group needs a basic foundation. Like freedom of speech, freedom of the press, right to vote, hold office (not through promotions, I mean like an actual vote from the public's eye and the groups's members), and above all follow the idea of liberty and freedom to choose your own destiny.
Wouldn't that be nice?
