ROBLOX Studio isn't opening.

When clicking 'edit' of a game, it opens studio then closes. Tried reinstalling ROBLOX Studio same problem...

When I open studio it shows a window that says "An unexpected error occured and roblox needs to quit!" This is very annoying can someone please tell me how to fix it?

for me, the studio bar for a place edit loads ~1/3 of the way and then closes abruptly.

Having the same issue: Redownloaded Rebooted Installed older version then updated and same issue occurs cleared cache cleared cookies ran as admin still no results.

Chances are you're using the SystemMenu layout. For those unfamiliar, there are two different studio "variants": SystemMenu (the old one you're probably used to), and RibbonBar (a new updated format that uses ribbon-like bars instead of rows of tools). For some strange reason, you can no longer open games with the SystemMenu layout. They will always crash just like all of you described. If this is the case, go to your Studio Settings, go to the Studio tab, and chance "UI Style" to "RibbonBar". I hope ROBLOX fixes this soon.
