Interviewing is a task that all MR/HRs need to know how to do since they are a key part in their role. Knowing how to host, number, and interview is very important. Below will be instuctions on how to do all of those things, and will hopefully clarify everything needed to know. If not, ask a higher rank who should know how.
| HOSTING INTERVIEW SESSIONS |
If you are going to host an interview session, you must be on the Trello board. All MR+ ranks can be on our Trello board, so message a Board of Directors + your username who will gladly add you to the board. Then, once you are on the board, make sure you are on the Sessions Sign Up board. Then, you will add yourself to an available card time slot. Make sure you will be on at that time, and if something comes up, message a higher rank who will take over for you if they are online.
Head down to the interview center about 20 minutes before the session begins. Shout about the session using proper shouting format (see shouting instructions) about 15 minutes before the session begins.
Cape yourself, host once you have arrived at the session, and you may pick a cohost from the MR+ that show up at your session. Everyone else will be interviewers. Three people may number, it just depends on who gets behind the counter first. Only three people may be behind the counter at once, respawn someone if four go in.
Once the session is over, shout that is has concluded.
| NUMBERING INSTRUCTIONS |
Numbering is how we keep order during our sessions, and check that people meet the criteria they need to work at Le Cafe de la Mar. The following steps will teach you how to number.
NOTE: You must be a Supervisor+ to number, and you must be one of the three people behin the counter to number. If all spots are taken, you can just wait until another session!
1. Greet the customer once they have arrived at the counter.
2. Make sure that they have joined the group. If they haven't as them to and then to come back once they have.
3. Ask them to say, c7rn, to ensure that they do not have safechat. If it appears in hashtags to them, they have safechat. Explain this to them and then you nmay kick them.
4 . See if their account age is over 15 days by saying :age ___, if it is not, you may :kick them.
5. Use the, :change ____ r #01 to number them, or do the next avaliable number.
6. Ask them to take a seat and wait for an interviewer.
7. Once an interviewer has greeted them and taken them into the back to be interviewed, use the same command as step 6, but change the # to B.I.

| INTERVIEWING INSTRUCTIONS |
Once a customer has been numbered, you will do the following.
1. Make sure they have a number and are sitting down.
2. Approach them and ask them if they are ready for their interview. If they say yes, lead them into the back room.
3. Go into an empty office and ask them if they have any questions before you begin. If they do not, remind them to use grammar throughout the entire interview. If they do, answer it to the best of their ability and remind them to use grammar.
4. Begin the interview. Ask them the questions that are on our job application and wait for them to answer. We do not have a time limit on answers, but if they are exceeding one minute you may ask them if they are afk. If they do not respond, you may kick them.
5. Once you have completed all the questions, give them thier results. If they passed, congratulate them and rank them on the group page using group admin. If they have failed, give them the reasons why and remind them that they can come again.
6. Dismiss them.
If they are not using grammar at any time throughout the interview, remind them! You want to help them as best you can.
NOTE: You can only rank people to Trainee off of interviews, no higher.
