This is basically what all the ROBLOX admins are saying: "So what if they have no knowledge in Lua?" Well what if some one sucks in Lua, but is amazing in another scripting language? So I say add another option when looking at the properties of a script, you can select any kind of scripting language avalible. For example: xEXAMPLEx is NOT good at Lua, but is good at C++, so he opens up the tab, and selects C++. The default will always be Lua, though.

Awesome. Lua is not my specialty, but I am actually pretty good at Python. Totally a great idea.

i dunno, roblox had to severely modify LUA so that it was limited and worked with roblox 1. it would take alot of time to do this with the other scripting languages 2. games run useing scripts and roblox is run with LUA makeing it impossible to then have scripts in the place that arn't lua, because they might run faster then LUA or have diferent properties. 3. roblox would probbaly mash them up (see reson 1) soo much that you will find you only know the basics of the roblox version all in all good idea but its not possible and if it was it would end up being pointless (see reson 1 and 3)

If you learn ONE imperative language, you learn them all. Lua is simpler than other imperatives, like C++ or Java or PHP. You can learn Lua VERY easily if you know those. its the people that ALREADY KNOW those that have it EASIEST learning Lua. it doesn't need support for other languages, it would slow ROBLOX down and make all of them but one incompatible.

"I know alot of Lua, but I want everyone to have an equal experience." It took me about a month to learn every aspect of Lua, and a day to be fluent with it.

Go fail somewhere else. C++ is not a scripting language. It is a programming language. FAIL FAIL FAIL!!!

I see no idea on this. I learnt c++ in like 3 days (well not the header file functions or anything like that, just how it works), so i dont undertsnad why couldnt you just learn lua because its so much simpler...
