Hello City of Norfolk. I have decided I want to run for City Council. I plan to help Norfolk the most that I can. Here is a little about me. I am a NCPD Officer, NFE Explorer, and an NCGDC Municipal Judge. I loved Norfolk since the day I joined.
The plans I have for City Council are as follows;
A large problem with Norfolk is inactivity. Whether it be government, departments, or private businesses. Government activity is improving. Departments such as NCDOT and NCDED have been quite inactive. I plan to help this by pushing for them to get new technology and creating laws that allow them to hire more people. As for private businesses, NCDED becoming more active will allow people to start businesses. I feel that business owners should have an incentive to create businesses. And most of Norfolk has an issue with inactivity. We have 3100 people in the group, and 2200 are tourist. If more more people were accepted citizenship, I feel that this would help tremendously. They could get jobs faster. Enough about inactivity.
I feel that the word "corruption" has come up to often. The department heads and HICOMMs work very hard for their jobs. It is not possible to silence the accusers, but I feel that cases involving corruption should be dealt with by the CA, and depending on the verdict, brought to CC to insure that only corrupt people are fired. Any case, with evidence, that involves corruption is to be taken very seriously.
Norfolk, much like a real city, is growing and maturing. With this comes a lot more responsibility for department heads. I feel that I can assist in the growth of Norfolk. Thank you for taking the time to consider.

NCDED is inactive because of the large amount of businesses that AREN'T applying. Not the other way around.
And, there's no real limit on how many people NCDED/NCDOT can hire. No law is needed.
And your sentence or two on corruption doesn't make much sense. Everything you posted is basically everything that already occurs. If someone's corrupt, it's reported to the department head and that individual is fired. If it's a department head, the CA and council will work together to remove him/her.

I respect your opinion. I said that I want business owners to have an incentive. That would grow NCDED, which would let more businesses be accepted. They would keep building on each other. What I meant by allowing more people to join didn't come out right. I meant to say allowing more people to gain citizenship and they would in turn apply for jobs in those departments. I apologize for any miscommunication made. And also my comment on corruption just didn't sound right and after reading your comment I agree with what you said. Most of those things are in. People aren't filing cases with enough evidence for them to be tried. If I was elected, I would choose to make sure that citizens always have evidence. And with the proposal of Inspector General, these types of cases could be dealt with more seriously. I again apologize for any confusion I caused. Thank you for your input.

After checking, it seems one of my supports is of the rank tourist in Norfolk. I don't know what the situation is, but I assume that his support is nullified. I still have 5 supports of MCC+. |
