Regarding gatherings of the Imperial Court and/or the Imperial Government, there is a required amount of information to be known to all attendants, of which the information required to be known depends on the type of gathering. Let's discuss these down below: ====================================================== ====================================================== - [WEEKLY] National Airing of Issues - [UPON COURT REQUEST / DEEMED NESSECARY BY THE GOVERNMENT] National meeting - [UPON COURT REQUEST / DEEMED NESSECARY BY THE GOVERNMENT] National voting ====================================================== ====================================================== With the gathering types displayed, we can now present the actual specifics of each type of gathering: ====================================================== ====================================================== - National Airing of Issues: Incase of no other gathering planned, every Saturday there will be a national airing of issues. In these gatherings, noble lords and ladies of the nation, both in and outside of court, may bring up issues they face to the Government in an attempt to get them solved. Normally, the Sadaijin is responsible for solving the immediate issues that can be resolved on the spot. If this is not possible, the request goes forward to the Daijō-daijin, who in turn can review the problem with the Sadaijin and Udaijin. If it is absolutely nessecary, the issue can be forwarded to the Kampaku and/or Tennō. HOSTED BY: Sadaijin, Daijō-daijin, Kampaku AND/OR Tennō. REQUESTED BY: None, this is the default event happening every week unless a different type of gathering is planned to happen. ====================================================== ====================================================== - National Meeting: In a national meeting, all lords and ladies of the land of the rising sun are invited to come over to the Imperial Palace in Kyoto, and join the discussion about one large topic / several smaller topics. National Meetings can only happen if a court member has requested one, with several backing the need for a national discussion about topic X. Alternatively, the Government may find it nessecary to call upon a National Meeting to see what the populace and Imperial Court would have to say on an idea or plan. HOSTED BY: Daijō-daijin, Kampaku AND/OR Tennō. REQUESTED BY: A member of the Imperial Court with other court members supporting the call for a National Meeting on topic X. Alternatively the Government can call for a National Meeting if found nessecary. ====================================================== ====================================================== - National Voting: Similar to a National Meeting, the only difference being here that instead of a discussion and exchange of perspectives and/or voices, the lords and ladies of the land of the rising sun are invited to vote upon Topic X, given that either the Imperial Government OR the Imperial Court called for vote. Often, topic X would be explained briefly, before turning into a voting round. The most common type of National Voting are the ones where there is need for a new Government Official AND/OR there is a new legislation that the Imperial Government would like to implement, but not before listening to what the people of Japan have to say about it. HOSTED BY: Daijō-daijin, Kampaku AND/OR Tennō. REQUESTED BY: A member of the Imperial Court with other court members supporting the call for a National Voting on topic X. Alternatively the Government can call for a National Voting if found nessecary. ====================================================== ====================================================== Signed: Go-tsuchimikado-tennō
