The admins pick the users they trust and have no moderation history at all. This won't be a sign up option. So it will work like this the admins will send you a PM and asking you this "Would you like to help the forum moderators?" You simply click the "Yes or No" Button. The powers they would get is simply Locking threads and removing mean threads, however the admins can see every threads you locked or deleted. So if you abuse it then you lose the powers. The reason I am suggesting this idea as there are more new forumler coming in the forums every day and the admins can't be on ATR 24 hours. So get little helpers to help you out. What I would requirement if I was an admin. The user to have 10K+ posts. No moderation history. Is 2+ years old. This means the user does not brake rules and is a safe user and has plenty of experience. [This is no troll]

But why would they have bias on post count? Also, "This means the user does not brake rules" "Brake" LOL

They used to do that. Then in 2012 one of those user mods granted another user access w/o permission and they did a bunch of bad things to the site. No more user mods after that :(

@ax The more posts you have the more experience you have. I don't think the admins would give powers to someone with 20 posts for example.

The last thing we need is a post count edgelords banning people who don't agree with them.
