Now before i say what this argument is about, please make sure you know what an opinion is, and how to deal with one different than your own. Also, once you read what its about, don't click off immediately. I have some decent reasons. Okay? Ready? Its about tix. Any player who's played roblox for at least 10 months knows what tix are. If not, here were what they were. Tix were a participation based currency. Each day, you could log in and get 10 tix. Tix could be used to buy clothes, the occasional tix-costing product/gamepass, or trade 20 tix each for 1 robuck. Remember however, these were a daily currency, so you couldn't get a ton. Also, every time a new player joined a game you made, you got 1 ticket. But only 1 ticket for every person per day (ex. NoobPro101 joins your game, leaves and joins back, the second time doesn't count because he already joined once today, so you only get 1 ticket.) Also, each BC only game would act the same, but you would get 10 tix instead of just 1 for a person. Now here are my ############### #### this was a participation currency. See, tix were only daily and gave you 10 a day. But because of this, players desperately wanted robux, since tix clothing price floor (which roblox is ALL about clothing now) was at 100 until they announced that tix would be removed in a month, which they then lowered it to 20. Back to the price floor part, the price floor made it hard to buy even the cheapest of tix clothing, because you would have to wait 10 (or 2 near the end) days to get 1 piece. So players would want robux instead, because that would allow them to buy clothes easily, along with game passes. And, you could change the robux to TONS of tix. Next, tix make players WANT to stay. Hey roblox. If you decided to read this thread, I hope you noticed that when you removed tix and when tix removal was announced, thousands of players left. THOUSANDS. Thats a lot of people. Tix were the reason people who didn't have tons of money could have a way to not be called a noob 15,000 times. If you get called a noob 24/7, it makes you hate the community and want to leave. More people leaving = less people that have a chance to buy robux = less money for you. Now i dont wanna see 190 milion "tl;dr"'s around here, so im gonna end the post here. Please reply to this post, i love seeing your comments! "Well maybe if it doesn't work, you should try something else" -railpwn

tl;dr But tix is not a pleasant word to be coming across, and really people need to let go because they do not know what it has done for the community

They caused the economy to lose value, especially with currency exchange (tix for ROBUX), and they removed tix to solve this problem. "Next, tix make players WANT to stay. Hey roblox. Your opinion =/= everyone's opinion. Also, go buy Builders Club. It's not that expensive. It's been seven months now, since tix got removed, and most of this forum is tired of seeing tix threads (fun fact: you're not the first person who posted about tix) and we want to see an ACTUAL suggestion. This is Suggestions & Ideas, not Complaints & Rants. If you decide to not be Builders Club, be grateful that ROBLOX offers FREE game development and playing games for Non Builders Club members. Don't ask for more stuff without giving anything in return, because how is that fair?

I read, but tickets were removed because they were exploitable and they had problems, such as always having to monitor the ratios, tix farms, and they were quickly becoming obsolete, too obsolete to be worth the maintenance. The ticket economy should have been fixed instead of removed but now that they're removed there's an opportunity to make a better replacement (better than crappy sponsored clothes and hats), like R$ fission. I agree that when the premium economy becomes the only economy the game suffers, but ROBLOX isn't actually feeling their losses because they've just expanded to consoles. They're getting more players and profits than ever (but their growth isn't very impressive considering other games got WAY more profits and players when they expanded to console than ROBLOX, and the game on other platforms is lackluster at best), even though they've lost quite a few in the process. In case you haven't noticed ever since the new updates the playerbase has gotten younger and younger, and this was most likely intentional. Playerbases all around have gotten younger and younger and ROBLOX is probably pandering, reducing their platform into a kid moneymaker. Because of this the game has been dumbed down and become more premium. It's basically doing a less extreme Club Penguin. ROBLOX isn't stupid, it's just purposefully dematuring. The moment I realized this was the moment I realized I was becoming too old for ROBLOX. Maybe you are too.
